If you want to experience how the "Prater rocks" you have the chance til January 8 to see some of Austrias finest musicians performing live at the wintermarket in front of the Ferries Wheel. You will listen to Funk, Rock, Pop, Soul, Blues, even Reggae. On top of this the Coca Cola Christmas Truck is passing by on some days. Easy to reach by Underground U1 or U2 (station Praterstern):

The Christmas Village at the Unicampus is very popular. This comes as no surprise, as the market offers many, many tasty bits and pieces and a wide range of possible christmas presents. One of the "Must-Visit"christmas markets in Vienna. The location in front of the Karlskirche is breathtaking beautiful and the markets focus is to present art, modern design and handicraft bits and pieces. Live acts on stage, art-Installations, fire-dancing and street theatre. Vienna is different – come and check it out! A few minutes walk from the home4students dormitory Schäffergasse.
